I would like to rent the studio for only a couple of hours can I do this?
We are reserving the last Saturday of each month for hourly rentals. Inquire through the booking form
Does the equipment come with the rental price?
Yes everything listed on the equipment page is available to our rental clients.
What are the exact dimensions of the studio space?
The dimensions of the space the renter has access are:
width from side wall to side wall is 29ft and the length
from the front wall to back shooting wall is 62ft
from the receptionary dividing curtain to the back shooting wall is 44ft
Can I hang props or signage from the wall or ceiling for set elements in my shoot?
We can easily suspend items from the ceiling with clamps and other fasteners. Please allow for this set-up in your rental time.
Do you have a Cyclorama "Cyc" wall?
No ,but we have seamless paper rolls that are up to 12' wide that extend down to the floor up to 40"
Can you fit a car in your studio?
No, our largest door is an oversized side loading door at 48" wide.
What happens if I break something?
Someone will be available on site to answer your questions and get you started for your shoot. Most of the equipment we offer has a downloadable manual for you to research prior to your shoot. In the rare case something is dropped or damaged due to misuse or an accident, we would get a quote to repair the item and the renter is responsible for payment to get the item repaired. This has yet to happen in 4 years….knock on wood.
Can we hold a workshop at your studio?
Yes we have accommodate many workshops in the past and have a catering company that we work with that is on our street that can supply our clients with tables and chair in addition to food and beverages.
Do you rent your space for corporate meetings and team building exercises?
Yes and the same rental rates apply to groups under 20.
I am looking for a studio or unique creative space to rent for corporate events, do you rent the space only for photo shoots or can I rent it for a party?
We have rented the studios for events and workshops in the past of up to 100 guests.
Depending on your needs, there are some additional fees in addition the day
rate. We do require a special waiver to be signed for the event.

What are the hours of your event?
Will you be setting up and packing up on the same night or will you need
access to the studio the previous or day after? There are additional
costs for these requests. You have to account for your set-up and clean
up time for your rental.
Will there be food and alcohol served and will there be children in attendance?
Note: We usually keep the soft boxes overhead and you can use them for lighting
accents. We have nearly 14 foot ceilings so they extend far out of reach.
We also have a few background flats stacked against the block wall that can
be covered by pulling down a 9' paper background. Others in the past have
left them exposed and used them for photo opps to allow guests to take photos
against the backgrounds.
Myself and 2 friends are very new to studio photography / commercial photography. We are doing a shoot for a company for their new ad campaign. Do you offer any sort of "mentoring" opportunities or "studio lighting" workshop? Say, if we were to rent the studio for our "trial run"...seeing as your photographers are well versed in commercial photography...is there someone who could "tutor/guide" us through a few shoots so that we could gain experience before the real thing?
